Providing Vocational Training and Job Coaching for those with Special Needs

Maryhaven Integrated Business Employment Services provides assessment, training, placement, and coaching services to those with a diagnosed disability who may have been historically excluded from competitive employment opportunities.

The Integrated Business Center (IBC) works in conjunction with the Department of Education’s Adult Continuing Career and Education Services- Vocational Rehabilitation (ACCES-VR), Office with People with Developmental Disabilities (OPWDD) and Office of Mental Health (OMH). Participants receive the support required to reach their goals.

Participants receive the care and attention they need to become successful with vocational goals and aspirations.

Diagnostic and Assessment Services

Maryhaven measures employment aptitude and explores interests through a discovery process. This is a 10-day evaluation, which leads to recommendations for future employment goals.
