Activities Coordinator (AC) – Starting at $22/hr
The Activities Coordinator will facilitate, coordinate and participate in the daily instruction of the individuals Maryhaven supports to ensure meaningful activities. This person will assist in the development, implementation and maintenance of quality programming to support the program participants and their needs.
Education and Qualifications:
1. BA in Human Services field OR
2. BA degree (non-Human Services) and 6 months’ experience working in related field OR
3. High School Diploma/GED and 1 years’ of experience working in Human Services/or related field.
4. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
Admissions Coordinator/QIDP - $30/hr
The Admissions Coordinator/QIDP is responsible for overseeing and managing the residential admission process for all new admissions, internal transfers, and program discharges within the agency. This role ensures that all transitions are coordinated effectively, with clear communication among internal teams, external facilities and regulatory agencies. In addition to admissions responsibilities, the Admissions Coordinator/QIDP maintains an active caseload of Maryhaven residential individuals, ensuring that all individualized service plans comply with regulatory standards and certification requirements.
Education and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor’s degree in human services required.
2. Minimum two years’ experience with the ID/DD population.
3. Minimum one year of OPWDD Residential Management/OPWDD Care Management experience preferred.
4. Knowledge of regulatory agency requirements, and auditing procedures preferred.
5. Computer literate. Able to learn new programs as needed.
6. Knowledge of Choices, and Precision Care software, preferred.
7. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
Assistant Residential Manager (ARM) – Starting at $24/hr
Assists in the day-to-day operation of the residence in accordance with regulatory requirements, agency policy and quality program standards. Encourages the development of independence, individualization, integration and productivity of the residents.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent required and one to two years’ experience with ID/DD population preferred.
2. Drive agency vehicles safely, obeying NYS law. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
Behavioral Intervention Specialist - $30-35.44/hr
Assesses, develops, implements and monitors consistent behavior management programs for mentally and physically disabled individuals with emphasis on proactive programming and a team approach.
Per Diem Clerical - $20/hr
Receptionist responsibilities. High School diploma/GED and valid NYS driver's license required. Must be proficient in Word/Excel.
Per Diem Community Integration Specialist - $22/hr
Provides instruction and training to individuals in community work settings. Provides support to help individuals attain desired outcomes for future competitive employment opportunities.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or equivalent.
2. One (1) to two (2) years’ experience with the IDD/OMH population preferred.
3. Drive agency vehicles safely, obeying NYS law.
4. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
5. Supervisory skills preferred.
Direct Support Professional (DSP) – Starting at $20/hr
Promotes a warm nurturing environment in which to live while supervising each resident in the development of social, recreation, ADL and independent living skills and overall community integration.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED required.
2. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
Driver/DSP – Starting at $21.50/hr
Operates Maryhaven vehicle in compliance with the Department of Motor Vehicle, NYS Traffic and Agency regulations while transporting developmentally disabled individuals. Maintains a considerate, cooperative attitude while ensuring the safe arrival and departure of the individuals. Assists in facilitating, coordinating and participating in the daily instruction of the individuals Maryhaven supports while on community integration trips. Participates in the development and implementation of program needs for individuals diagnosed with varying degrees of Intellectual Disabilities, Physical Disabilities, and other developmental disabilities.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School diploma/GED required.
2. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
3. SCIP-R certification required. AMAP as program requires.
4. Experience with the mentally and/or physically challenged, preferred.
LPN – Starting at $35/hr
Ensures nursing services, which include distribution of medication, emergency triage, first aid and follow-up as needed. Provides individual/staff health education, acts as a liaison with appropriate care providers and doctors as needed, all in accordance with regulatory requirements.
Education and Qualifications:
1. NYS LPN license required.
2. One (1) to two (2) years’ experience with the mentally and/or physically challenged population.
3. Knowledge of acceptable nursing practices, regulatory requirements, and agency policy.
4. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
Maintenance Mechanic – Starting at $23/hr
To perform routine maintenance, preventative maintenance, repairs and renovations to Maryhaven properties.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma or equivalent.
2. Maintains a valid NYS Drivers’ license within agency criteria.
3. Two years’ facilities maintenance experience required.
Medical Caseworker – Starting at $22/hr
Monitors and access services to meet the medical needs of residents through community resources.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED required.
2. AMAP & SCIP-R Certification within 3 months of employment.
3. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
Nursing Coordinator - $54.95/hr
Provides supervision of nursing personnel within the CRS Nursing Department as assigned to ensure compliance with Maryhaven Policy and Procedures and OPWDD regulations. Provides training to nursing personnel and ensures nursing coverage for assigned case load.
Education and Qualifications:
1. Current NYS R.N. License.
2. 1-2 years nursing experience with developmentally disabled population.
3. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
NYSID Production Worker Per Diem – Integrated Business Center - $20/hr
Produces and assembles various production products for NYSID contract according to specifications.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School diploma or equivalent.
2. Basic Math Skills for recording counts & production work.
3. Experience in Production and Assembly work a plus.
Per Diem Production Line Supervisor - $21/hr
Responsible for the instruction and training with packaging and assembly of various products in the IBC. Maintaining compliance with documentation of information in Precision Care and Payscan.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED required.
2. One (1) to two (2) years’ experience with the IDD/OMH population preferred.
3. Drive agency vehicles safely, obeying NYS law.
4. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
5. Supervisory experience preferred.
Residential Manager – $36.54/hr
Oversees the day-to-day operation of the residence in accordance with regulatory requirements, agency policy and quality program standards. Encourages the development of independence, individualization, integration and productivity of each resident.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/equivalent and one to two years’ experience with ID/DD population required, one year in supervisory capacity. BA Degree and two years supervisory experience preferred.
2. Maintains SCIP R & AMAP certification.
3. Computer literate.
4. Drive agency vehicles safely, obeying NYS law. Maintain valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria required.
Team Leader - $30/hr
Team Leader provides overall supervision, training and support to staff working in classrooms with individuals who have an intellectual developmental disability.
Education and Qualifications:
1. High School Diploma/GED required.
2. BA in Human Services field or BA associated within the study of human condition required (to be reviewed by Human Resources) with one year experience in the field, and 1 year experience working in a supervisory capacity overseeing staff for administrative and clinical direction.
3. Maintains valid NYS driver’s license within agency criteria.
4. SCIP-R certification required.
Training Coordinator – Starting at $27/hr
Participates as an instructor in Orientation schedule and all other in-services as required. Coordinates/completes all staff training paperwork in conjunction with supervisor. Provides written certificates to each program that the staff involved have satisfactorily completed specific training areas.
Education and Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree or foreign equivalency preferred.
2. Two years' experience working with intellectually and/or physically disabled individuals.
3. Two years' experience in staff training or management.
4. Current Strategies for Crisis Intervention & Prevention – Restrictive (SCIP-R) Instructorship preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain SCIP-R Instructor certificate upon hire and during tenure required.
5. Current American Heart Association (AHA) Instructorship preferred. Ability to obtain and maintain AHA Instructorship upon hire and during tenure required.
6. Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
7. Proficient with software programs (e.g. Microsoft Suite).
8. High comfortability with technology, such as LMS.
9. Strong presentation skills (i.e. good communication skills, both oral and written), required.
10. Significant attention to detail with experience in maintaining accurate, detailed records in an organized manner.
