Structured Schedule to Promote Independence and Education

The Holbrook Day Habilitation specifically maintains a focus on Autism Spectrum Disorders by providing increased structure and support. 

PECS Picture Exchange Communication System) is used to assist individuals in the classroom and around the facility. A Snoezelen Room—sensory therapy room—provides an environment consisting of textured, tactile objects, aromatherapy, soft music, colored lighting, and vibrating mats. The classrooms may use sound-blocking headphones when appropriate. Community integration outings are implemented daily in small groups.
