At Maryhaven, we support people living with intellectual disabilities and mental health issues by assisting each person to reach their highest potential while promoting individuality, independence and integration into the community. This is accomplished through residential, day habilitation and vocational programs with varying degrees of support. With compassion and sincerity, our mission is to enrich the lives of people with special needs.

Community Residential Program: Maryhaven operates twenty-nine Individualized Residential Alternatives in addition to a Supportive Apartment Program. These homes are supported by trained employees who offer support and compassion to adults with intellectual disabilities. The person’s Care Plan is designed to foster growth and independence while providing the individual with an array of clinical support and social opportunities.

Community Day Habilitation Program: Our uniquely themed day habilitation programs provide participants with a platform to attain personal growth and quality of life by teaching daily living skills and offering community integration. Maryhaven offers traditional site-based programs as well as Programs Without Walls (PWW). 

Vocational Program:  Maryhaven’s one-of-a-kind Integrated Business Center, promotes an environment where disabled and non-disabled people work side by side. Our vocational rehabilitation team and supported employment department offer both in-house and community-based employment opportunities based on a person’s skill set. The goal of this program is to teach job skills so that people with intellectual disabilities may earn a living wage.

Our Logo

The Maryhaven logo featuring a blue heart supported by a green hand pays tribute to both our past and present. The logo is intended to represent the love and compassion offered to the individuals by the founding sisters belonging to the Daughters of Wisdom and carried forward by the support staff at Maryhaven. The color green is intended to honor Walter W. Stockton and IGHL.
